This Sterling Silver ring was inspired by the way that snakes communicate with each other. Many people don't know is that snakes communicate with pheromones, which they then detect by flicking out their tongues and then touching them to the roof of their mouth which is where the Jacobson's organ is located that processes the pheromone.
When deciding what I wanted to portray on this ring I thought about what it would mean to the people gifting the ring to one another and so I decided to feature two snakes curled around the same tree, both reaching out for each other in a loving manner.
